Obscure glass privacy screens are an attractive way to comply with the 1700mm high privacy regulations in Sydney / Melbourne. These opaque glass screens are also used as dividers in apartment balconies and as privacy screens where privacy is an issue. A combination of opaque toughened glass panels can provide privacy to those "unsightly" areas around a residential apartment complex in an attractive way. Our obscure glass screens are fully framed with high tensile structural aluminium. Obscure / frosted / opaque / translucent glass is used to ensure your privacy without preventing light from passing through! Our toughened glass privacy screen panels can easily be fixed to any existing structures including timber, steel, rendered concrete block work, etc.

Obscure Glass Privacy Screens Specifications:
Height: 1700mm is required by Australian Standards, but can be manufactured to any height.
Width: According to your site requirement.
Glass: 6mm obscure (Matelux acid etch) toughened safety glass fixed to top and bottom glazing channels. Glass shall be Grade-A certified in accordance to AS1288-2006.
Top rail Styles: AMMI HalfRound, AMMI FullRound or AMMI Rectangular.
Frame: Superior quality aluminium; high tensile structural alloy 6060 T5, 6061 T6 and 6351 T6.
Finish: Any standard DULUX powder coat colour of your choice available here: Standard Powder Coat Colors.pdf. We also cater for natural anodised finishes. A 10 year powder coat guarantee is available.
Post Fixing: Floor mounted base plates or core-drilled -depending on your site requirement. Core holes will have a diameter of 60mm and a depth of 80-100mm which will be filled with either Ramset non-shrink grout or Epoxy and concealed with cover plates.
